Where do your plants come from?

We grow them all ourselves, from propagation or germination, right in our Melbourne greenhouses.

I want to buy a plant I saw a month ago and it’s not for sale anymore! Why?

Because we grow everything in limited batches, we may sell out quickly. If the plant you were interested in has sold out, make sure to sign up to our Waitlist and we’ll email you once your wishlist item is back in stock!

How do you package my plants for postage?

All plants are sent with experience and care, according to what species and media they are grown in. Each product description will provide a brief explanation of how plants will be sent (ie, potted or bare-rotted).

We are also a TPP Accredited (Tomato Potato Psyllid) Nursery, which means all plants are shipped in sealed bags inside sealed boxes.

I’ve ordered a plant and a hoodie; why are there two shipping charges?

All plants are sent via express post, direct from us. Our merch is printed on demand, and is therefore sent directly to you from the printers. We unfortunately are unable to combine the postage for these two categories.

What days do you ship?

Generally, we ship on Mondays or Tuesdays. Rest assured that we package our plants to allow for postal delays, so during busy periods we may ship on days other than our usual. Please check our Shipping & Biosecurity page for details about order cut-offs and postal information.

Please note that due to biosecurity measures involving cover spraying plants ahead of shipping in accordance with TPP regulation PS-57, Queensland orders are dispatched fortnightly.

Do you offer collection?

At this stage, no. But you can collect your purchase from an upcoming market date. Please check our Markets page for further information on where to find us.

What media do you grow your plants in?

This will vary by genus and species. Check out our Journal to see if we’ve covered your plant’s media there, or drop us an email via our Contact page.

How can I get care instructions for my new plant?

We endeavour to include culture notes in product descriptions, as well as writing posts for our Journal, but if you still have questions, feel free to reach out via our Contact page or our Instagram DMs.

My plant arrived damaged, what can I do?

Please check our Terms of Service page to see what to do. We’re happy to work with you towards a solution.

Do you send to PO Boxes?

We will, but please familiarize yourself with our Terms of Service prior to having your order sent to a PO Box. Please note that orders to NSW, ACT, QLD and SA must include a physical billing address for biosecurity paperwork.

What if I’m not home when my delivery arrives?

All our parcels are sent with Authority To Leave (ATL), so your delivery will be left in a safe place by Australia Post. If there is no safe place, your delivery will be taken to your nearest post office or parcel collection point. For further details on this, please refer to our Terms of Service.
