This is an exciting cross between an incredibly dark, round, pillowy specimen from prominent aroid growers in FNQ. The seed parent (A. crystallinum ‘black’ x NOID) presents practically black foliage with a beautiful pillowy, round shape. Can be seen in the second image.
The pollen parent is a magnificum hybrid with dark green velvet foliage that has a prominent purple hue. Emergent foliage is deep purple and very vibrant.
This seedling is everything we wanted to achieve from this pairing. Chefs kiss.
