Unlike the majority of Hoya this species is an upright viner with thick woody stems and dark green foliage that fills its space in no time. If not trellised this species will take over its environment. Similar to H. cumingiana, this species presents blooms with beautiful yellow/green corolla, adorned with a red corona. A truly lovely combination of colours. Blooms are exceptionally fragrant boasting a divine gardenia scent.
