Hoya australis ssp. rupicola is an unusual lithophytic subspecies endemic to rocky habitats of north-western Australia, characterised by compact upright growth and very thick, firm, smooth succulent like oblanceolate leaves adapted for high light and drought tolerance. Purple centred corolla adorned with a white nectar-rich corona that are consistent with the H. australis complex. Prefers well-drained, mineral-rich substrates and warm conditions.
This species is a slow grower. Please note that you may not receive the exact plant shown in the photo, but you will receive one of similar sizing. Also, we do not recommend repotting for the first six months or until the plant has completely outgrown its pot.
